My name is Richard DeLoach and I help students improve their chess game through structured thinking, practical tactics, and review of real games.

We have a 15 minute demo introduction that can help you get your assesment and how future classes will be.
We have several packages that may suit your needs. However, for the most notable progress we recommend a monthly package that you can renew every month. Customized long term plans are also available.
No, we bring the boards, pieces, and any other teaching tools that will help the students learn as they go.
For steady improvement we suggest at least one lesson per week.
We recommend in person classes as the student will have a more 'hands-on' personalized experience. However, if online is required for your circumstances these can be very effective too.
If you're thinking about introducing a child to chess, starting young (even around 5-6) can be beneficial. But its never too late to start!
All cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson. In person lessons that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee. If the instructor cancels, the lesson will be reschedule at no extra cost.
Yes , classes can be taught at your home, or a public place of your choosing. However, homes must be smoke-free and pets (if you own any) must be well behaved.
